My New Canvas Print

Recently, I was given a chance to review a custom canvas print for Canvas Press, Inc. (http://www.canvaspress.com) and I am excited to share my thoughts!

Canvas Press, Inc. has been providing canvas prints since 2006. They are a made in the USA company and pride themselves on having the highest quality canvas prints available online. They offer a wide array of custom sizes, great customer service, and a lifetime guarantee. They also offer paper prints, metal prints, wall murals, and framing.

We are slowly adding more Disney art around our home, such as a painting of Castaway Cay in our bedroom, a signed Pirates of the Caribbean frame in our livingroom, and a print of the Haunted Mansion stretched paintings that we're waiting to have framed for above our fireplace. I had taken a photo (with my iPhone) a couple of years ago at the Epcot Flower & Garden Festival during one of our Disney vacations, and I thought this photo would be the perfect addition to the walls of our home. It is one of my favorite Disney photos I've ever taken.

I chose a 20" wide by 14" size. I cropped the original photo down a bit - the right hand side had a lot more people and unnecessary noise in it that I didn't want on the canvas. The options I chose were Museum Matte (a non-glare matte canvas finish with a very high print quality and depth of color) and a Mirror Wrap (which basically takes the very edges of the photo and flips them to keep a bit of a seamless look around the edges) They also offer Image Wrap (which sort of crops the photo and the sides will end up on the edges) and a solid, Color Wrap option. I chose a 1.5" depth, but they also have a .75" depth and 2" depth option. Each canvas will come with Sawtooth hangers but you can opt for wire hangers or security hangers too.

I received my canvas in just 8 days, which to me is a quick processing and shipping time for a custom print like this. They note a 2-3 day turnaround on the website, so when you factor in a usual 5 day ground shipping time that sounds accurate. It came packaged very safely in a large box with lots of padding, and wrapped in a thick plastic.

Right away I noticed how vibrant the colors were - just like my photo - and I love the matte finish. It almost looks like a real painting. Here is a closeup so you can see the details in the finish.

Here you can really see the vibrancy of the colors:

We chose to hang this print in our front hallway, as we don't have anything there currently and I think it is a great addition to the space.

The canvas print is just perfect. I'm so happy to have my favorite Disney park photo on my wall so I can see it every day, and bring a little park magic home.

You can order your custom canvas print by visiting http://www.canvaspress.com. I just checked and today only they are running an Easter 60% off sale on canvas prints up to 30"x40", so head on over there now!

Thank you to Canvas Press, Inc. for providing me a canvas to review. I was not compensated for this review and all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
