Thank You Card

Today I have a thank you card to share with you.

I recently had some friends over for a get-together, and I wanted to make and send a note to thank them for coming and having such a nice day with us.

I knew I wanted to use some new Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle dies that I received for Christmas, and I am currently in love with the Avery Elle Oh Happy Day stamp set, so I pulled those out and went to work. I first stamped and embossed the 'thank you' sentiment, and then die cut out the rectangle shape around it. This is just basic white card stock. I used the largest die to cut out the patterned paper panel.

Once I had my sentiment panel die cut, I used the flower images from the stamp set to stamp some flowers in ink colors that coordinated with the patterned paper. I love how it looks like they were meant to go together!

I just attached the white panel to the patterned one with some wide foam tape (I wanted some stability since I was going to mail it), and then attached the patterned panel to a white card front. I can't get over how much I love that silver embossing.
