I'm a little late sharing this one, but I love it so much I couldn't not post it! So, one last holiday card from this past season to show you guys today:
This card was totally inspired by the glittery gold embossing powder I used (Stampendous Jeweled Gold). I really wanted to try stamping with this powder over vellum, and the Stamps of Life trees4Christmas set worked perfectly.
I stamped the stamps on sheet of vellum with Versamark, and then used the embossing powder. When this stuff heats up, it looks just like glittered card stock.
I cut out some patterned squares and punched a circle in the center, and
then attached the embossed vellum underneath. I raised everything up
with foam squares so that you could see the words easier.
I used a blank white card stock panel underneath, and stamped my sentiment in the bottom corner. Then I tied some twine around the panel, and attached that over another piece of patterned paper, and then put all of that over a panel of glittered gold card stock. A simple white card base finished off the card, because the front is so busy and pretty!
I love glitter and sparkle and layers, so this card was so fun to make.
