Today I wanted to share the pages I created for my Week In The Life this year. Ali Edwards designed this project, and I followed along this year, only I didn't create a separate album. I opted to make digital pages to cover this period, which I'll insert into my digital Project Life photo book for the second half of 2014.
I used a combination of items for my pages. I used bits and pieces from the A Week In Review templates from Anita Designs, and the Stitched Grids Vol. 1 templates from Scotty Girl Design, along with papers from the Currently collab from The Lilypad. I tried to keep the pages fairly simple. I wanted to document the week but I didn't want to get too wrapped up in trying to make my pages perfect.
Every morning that week, I snapped a quick screenshot of my phone when I woke up, showing the time I woke as well as the weather for the day. I added these on a page using one of Anita's templates.
For the individual days, I used the Stitched Grid templates, and just didn't embellish beyond the paper strips on a few of the pages. I kept the same background patterned paper, and added the day circles from Anita's template pack to note the day. I also added the date circles around the sides of the grids on each page.
I kept my text to a box on each page, and I noted what our meals were for the week as best as I could. Each day had only 5 or 6 photos that I thought to take, so the templates I used worked out perfectly.
While I definitely did not document the week as in depth as Ali Edwards does, I am happy to have spent some time getting a few more of those daily details down. It's nice to look back at specific weeks or days across the years and see just what we were doing that week.
