Back in May, I picked up the Say It-Love You stamp set from Technique Tuesday at CKC:
I love (no pun intended) this stamp set. I like that it can be used for Valentine's Day, or an anniversary, but also, I love the little hearts that are included.
So I was playing around with the set and made this card that I wanted to share with you:
First, I used another Technique Tuesday stamp set, With All My Heart, for the heart design. I stamped with Versamark, then embossed with Stampin' Up! white embossing powder. After I heat embossed the heart, I stamped the "love you" sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I wanted a bit of color to the card, so I cut a strip of paper from an American Crafts Hip Hip Hooray 6x6 paper pad (found at Target), trimmed off 1/2" from the bottom of my card front, and attached the strip to it. Then I added white dashed lines using a Signo Uni-ball white pen. I picked this pen up at CKC and it is now my favorite white pen (though my former favorite, Gelly Roll, is still a very close second).
To finish off the card I rounded the bottom corners using the WRMK yellow-handled Corner Chomper.
