Me At 33 Album Layout Share

Awhile back, I'd posted the cover page to a mini album project I've started called "Me At 33." My goal with this book is to focus on myself vs. the entire family. I want to document what I'm doing, what I'm loving, things like that. I plan to randomly insert layouts when I'm feeling creative, so they won't be necessarily in a specific order.

One of the ideas I have is to note what is currently happening. Not on a weekly or even monthly basis, just when I feel like updating. So my first spread in the album happens to be a "current events" section for April and May.

I made two pages, and included various photos from this time period. There isn't a photo for everything and that's ok.

I'm using the Dear Lizzy Daydreamer Project Life kit and 6x6 paper pad for this project, along with other items from my stash. On this spread I used letter stickers from Simple Stories, and thickers from BasicGrey, along with a sticker from the Echo Park Everyday Eclectic collection. I'm mixing rounded and square corners, and that's ok too :)

I just noted a lot of things that were currently happening on this card from the Project Life kit. To lengthen the card I added some of the 6x6 paper to one side. (The Simple Stories pockets are just slightly larger than 6" wide and it bugs me).

Special couple of slots for a photo of Shannon and I on our CKC Manchester trip.

Just having relaxing, creative fun with this album. I'm not worrying about order or what necessarily gets documented when. I don't want to stress about it.

By the way, I adore this mini album format. If I had not switched to digital Project Life, this mini album might have been the way to go. Far less stressful having less pockets to fill up.
