Birthday Card for Molly

One of the January birthdays I needed a card for was the first birthday for sweet little Molly. This card was so fun because I was able to use some fun feminine papers.

I chose the My Mind's Eye Happy Day 6x6 paper stack, along with some Daffodil Delight card stock from Stampin' Up! for the card. I knew I wanted to make a pinwheel for the front decoration, so the pinwheel pattern from the MME paper stack was the perfect background. I just layered several pieces of the paper along the front of the card to form the stripes at the bottom.

For the pinwheel, I used the Stampin' Up! pinwheel Sizzlit die and just added a tiny button to the center.

Finally, I simply stamped "happy birthday" along the bottom with Stampin' Up! Island Indigo ink and the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.

A fairly simple card to put together but so fun and pretty for a 1 year old! :) And the good news was that Molly loved it!

  1. She truly does love it! It serves as a great distraction for her to look at during diaper changes! lol
