Happy Birthday Card

One of the cards I made this past weekend was for my grandmother. She likes pretty, elegant cards, which always seem to be a bit of a challenge for me.

I saw this pretty and simple "be merry" card on Pinterest, by Scrapperia, and thought I'd adapt it into a birthday card using the same basic layout.

I die cut a scalloped circle sheet of card stock that matched my card base, and then ran it through a Stampin' Up! embossing folder. I added a couple of banner flags also die cut, using the Stampin' Up! Bitty Banners Framelits, and stamped "happy birthday" on the white one. Then I added a punched butterfly and a little yellow rhinestone. Simple and sweet.
