Traditional Scrapbook Layout - A-maze-n

We recently took Austin, along with my sister and brother, to the Davis Farmland Mega Maze for a fun adventure. I had not been since I was pregnant with Austin, so I was anxious to check it out this year. I think this is our fourth year completing the maze. They change the theme up each year, and this year, the theme was a murder mystery treasure hunt.

I had some fun photos from the day, and I really wanted to make a page for them. I wanted to use more than one photo, so I went over to Shimelle's website and looked for a sketch that would work. This one on mixing phone photos with camera photos worked perfectly.

I wanted the layout to feel like fall, without having too much of the traditional reds, oranges, and yellows of fall. I think the blue, mixed with brown and yellow is exactly what I was going for.

I added some elements from 5th & Frolic, like the tag at the top of the page (above photo),the blue "love" tag in the cluster at the bottom, and the Project Life card that has the date and place (below photo).

For the smaller photos, I just placed 2 on a 4x6 canvas, and left a small white border around them when I cut them with my paper trimmer.  The thickers for the title are cork.

I really enjoyed putting this together. :)
