Project Life 2013: Week 40

Welcome to Project Life 2013, week 40. This week I used some cards from the Seasons edition of Project Life as well as the Jade edition.

This is the full spread without the insert, which I'll show you below. Most of the photos this week are from our visit to the Davis Farm Mega Maze.

Here's a look at the left side:

Austin had his 2.5 year checkup, so I added a photo I took of him being weighed along with some journaling about his stats and how his appointment went. My mom took Austin up to NH to see the foliage with my grandmother, and she sent me a pic from her cell phone, so I printed that to add to the layout.

We went to the corn maze, so I added a title spread across two pockets, along with some of the items we collected on our visit (wristband, map, and the coin for completing the maze).

Here's a look at the right side:

On this page, I added a photo and filler card (Studio Calico kit) in the bottom right pocket. I love this "Rain Rain Go Away" card but hadn't had a chance to use it yet. On Sunday, we were going to go apple picking but the weather was awful, so this was the perfect opportunity to use that card. We ended up taking Austin to a local indoor playground and he had a blast, but I was certainly sad not to get apple picking in this year.

I also cropped a photo of Austin from my iPhone into an 8x6 photo, which I then cropped in half to print onto two 4x6 sheets. I cut the bottom photo in half, and split up the picture over the 3 pockets on the top left of the sheet. Love the look of one photo spread over several pockets. To the photo I added one of the MAMBI clear stickers.

Here is a look at the spread with my insert added:

I did a Day in the Life on October 1st, so I added an insert (Design J) with collages of photos in each 4x4 pocket. I made the collages right on my phone with the PicFrame app.

Here is the front and back of the insert, along with the actual map we used and filled in throughout the maze. I just punched it with a 3-hole punch and added it right into the album.

That's week 40! Have a great week everyone.
