Project Life 2013: Week 39
Welcome to Project Life 2013, week 39. This week I chose to work with the Amy Tangerine Cut & Paste Edition.
This week was fairly routine during the week, but the weekend was busy. Friday night Brad and I had a date night to the movies. Saturday I assisted at my second wedding with my photographer, Jen, and Sunday I had Shannon over to craft, where I finished up Austin's baby album.
On this left page, I included a couple of videos I took of Austin. One was him reading Goodnight Moon to me, and the other was him saying mine and Brad's first names.
I also included a secret card. I had some journaling that I wanted to add to my album but not share for the world right now, so I stuck the journaling about it inside of a bifold card (from the Vintage Travel edition), and added a stamp on the front from Studio Calico that says "Open Me."
Here is a look at the right side:
On this page I added photos I snapped with my phone during the wedding, a text and photo of Austin that Brad took while he was watching him while I was at the wedding, and some journaling and a photo of Shannon during our crafty afternoon. I also included a photo of my guys all dressed up in their Patriots gear. They do this every Sunday, and sometimes I join in with my own Brady jersey. It's really cute to see them matching, and I want to remember all those special Sundays.
That's week 39! How are you all coming along with your albums this year? I think I've pretty much decided not to document strictly weekly next year. I want an album for the year but I think I'm going to allow myself the flexibility to have a one page layout for a week or perhaps document a random time period, etc next year. I'm finding it hard sometimes to fill up each week without using random photos. Not every week, but some. I think I want some more flexibility next year.
