Project Life 2013: Week 32

Welcome to Project Life 2013, week 32. Apologies for the iPhone photos this week, my camera was packed up at the time I finished this layout.

I used the new Michaels exclusive 5th & Frolic kit on this layout. I love this edition. The colors are feminine but not too young or cutesy, I think. And it definitely feels a bit more "designer" than the other core kits.

This was the week prior to our Disney trip and as such, we didn't have a whole lot going on. The weather was lovely, so I added a photo that reminded me how beautiful it was. A few photos of Austin, one of a book I read in a few days, and one of me shopping for sunglasses. Eddy and Sadie are tossed in there too, for good measure.

Here's a close up of the left side:

For my title card, I used one of the cards that had a blank month template and added in the dates for August. I used a tiny heart stamp from one of the Studio Calico kits by Hello Forever to stamp over the dates of this particular week.

I repeated the heart stamp on this journaling card about the book I received and finished. I love the hand drawn heart with the stamped image behind it. I also used a tiny arrow from the same stamp set to point to the photo. Stampin' Up!'s Baja Breeze ink matches perfectly to this kit, in my opinion.

Here is the right side of the layout:

I used the same arrow stamp on this journaling card about the sunglasses I picked up.

That's my week 32! I hope you guys have an awesome week. Thanks for checking in.

  1. You layout is gorgeous! I love the 5th & Frolic kit too, I've been searching for one but Michael's has been all out. I agree about it feeling more "designer" than most of the other kits as well, I get that same feeling about Jade though + some of the mini kits [like the other Dear Lizzy kits].
