Disney 2013 Mini Album

I finished my Disney mini album for our trip and am so excited to share it with you guys. Click here if you haven't checked out my post about preparing the album prior to my trip. I've got a bunch of photos to show you, but if you would like to see what the whole album looks like, I have a video at the end of the post.

I used a lot of papers from the Glitz Uncharted Waters 6x6 paper stack, along with some from one of those gigantic Recollections stacks (the ones that have like, 240 super thin, not really useful papers in them), and a few from the Studio Calico Abroad paper stack. The journaling cards are from the Jade Project Life Edition.

Here is the cover of the album.

I used a Simple Stories Snap album for the trip, because I wanted a bunch of different sized page protectors (which I cut up from larger 12x12 pages) and to be able to insert dividers and ephemera.

On the inside cover I added a 5x7 photo from Hollywood Studios. I had mistakenly printed it at 5x7 without realizing it would be just a little too wide for the album. Then I was going to use it on the outside cover but forgot, so inside the cover it went.

I used a stamp that says "let the adventure begin" and a card from one of the Studio Calico Project Life kits for our trip down to Florida.

I loved being able to add all the bits of ephemera I collected throughout the trip, like our luggage tag and room keys:

A map of the resort with our room number and location added, and one of the pool bands I kept:

I kept a little origami heart from our dinner at Teppan Edo, more room keys (these had our park tickets), and the ticket from our Pirates and Pal Fireworks cruise.

I also loved having some larger photos printed. These I cropped to 6.25x8.25 (because these 6x8 Snap pages have a bunch of extra room in them that I don't like) and placed them on 8x10 canvases for printing at CVS.

I kept our Photopass cards this time, which I normally don't, but now I had the perfect place to add them.

I used a few different letter stickers - mostly from the Snap collection but mixed with a few other brands as well.

I included some QR codes that link to two videos I shot of the Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It parade, which is my very favorite!

We collected confetti from the parade, so I added that into a pocket:

I had to write about the Dole Whips we finally tried while we were there. We've been so many times and never tried them. They are amazing! Brad liked the regular Dole Whip the best, but my favorite is the orange Dole Whip float!

Another fun pocket with sand from the resort:

I ended the album with a memorabilia pocket, which I stuck the park maps and our parking permit in.

Here's the video that shows you the whole album:

That's my Disney mini album! I hope you liked seeing it all come together. :)

  1. LOVE your vacation album...........believe it or not, I've never been to Disney and it's only about 60 miles away. Think I'll have to go (but during the fall, it's just to stinkin' hot during the summer!).

  2. Beautifully done! It's a great little album and it really inspired me to get started on ours from our March trip. Love that you included sand from the pool!

  3. Love this album! Thank you so much for sharing and putting the pin label on each photo. My husband and I have never been to Disney World, never enough money, but maybe we will be able to take our future grandkids. My daughter is getting married next year and she and her husband plan on having kids.

  4. Love this. I am following your idea and creating a new album for my disney vacation. I was getting overwhelmed with the thought of creating a page for all the photos I had taken.
How do create QR codes and where does the video reside. I would love it if you can give more information.
    Thanks
