Project Life 2013: Week 20

Welcome to Project Life 2013, week 20. This week I had all Instagram photos. It was a challenging layout, and it took hours to pull together. I'm definitely happy with the result but not with how long it took me to get it right. I much prefer using full 4x6 photos in the pockets.

A closer look at the left side:

I included a collage I made with photos Austin took himself on my iPhone, and a little video of his laugh that I really want to remember. Lots of embellishments all over this layout. For the background card behind the collage I actually used two SC cards and taped them together with washi.

The little pennant embellishments on the video card were done using the Epiphany Crafts punch system I blogged about previously.

Right:

More bright and cheerful colors, lots more embellishments, and random Instagrams. Love the "cork" arrows from one of my SC kits, which I just attached using my Tiny Attacher.

Supplies used in this layout:

Cards from Studio Calico, Me & My Big Ideas, Echo Park, Simple Stories, Cobalt, Clementine & Seasons Editions
Recollections wood embellishment. Arrows, clips, and flair from Studio Calico. Brads from Snap! and Leeza Gibbons
American Crafts Sketchbook Thickers and Precision Pens
Stickers and alphas from My Mind's Eye, Basic Grey, and Jillibean Soup
Epiphany Crafts Pennant Punch

  2. LOVE these pages! And I keep wondering about getting the Epiphany punch set ... maybe if I find it on sale, it is adorable!!! I keep thinking off all the scraps I could use that way! Can you use it just as a punch, like if I ran out of the epoxy parts, or they stop making them? Great job as always, and I LOVE how you use the q-code thingy for videos too! AMAZING!!

    1. Yup! It works as a punch too and while I have not tried it I heard you can use glossy accents or maybe diamond glaze to do the "epoxy" look if you don't have them.

    2. Thanks so much! I saw they were 40% off at JoAnn, so I may order one! :) Also meant to mention this morning ... I know you like digital, have you seen the Lori Whitlock 4x6 life card template thingys on Jessica Sprague? I got all 3 sets, and love them for creating a 4x6 area with smaller pics and digital papers, etc. You might check them out if you decide to do more mostly-instagram pics sometime! :)

And, I saw the diagnosis. ((hugs))
