I am SO excited to share this month's freebie with you guys. It's everything you need to create a fun recipe book - Project Life style. :)
This freebie kit contains:
1 Recipe Card with Ingredients and Directions areas
6 "Idea" cards - when you just can't figure out what to make
8 Food Quote cards
8 Section cards and 1 blank Section card
3 Note cards
6 Filler cards (3 each in 3x4 and 4x6)
Sheet of tab labels
Printable PDF
You can print the PDF and then print extra cards as you need them.
This all stemmed from my desire for a book Brad and I could easily go to with our favorite dinner ideas. We had a lot of ideas pinned on Pinterest but we had to look them up whenever we remembered to make them. Now they're all in one spot. Here are a bunch of pictures of my own book, completed with this freebie. I used a Snap! binder for mine, but these were made with the intention of using them in one of the awesome Becky Higgins Project Life mini books. I just wanted the ability to add pages or move them around.
I printed all of my cards and tabs using the American Crafts white textured solid core card stock.
The alphas are from Simple Stories. I love that they match my book exactly!
These tabbies are foldover - just score them in half, add adhesive to the back, and fold them over the page protector.
I really wanted an idea page, where I could quickly see a list of ideas to make for meals. By the way, the handwriting you're seeing is Brad's. Since he's the chef, this is his book now. I gave it to him for a few days to add a couple of things before I photographed the book. He's very excited! (No joke - he loves it!)
I hope you guys love this as much as I do! DOWNLOAD LINK EXPIRED
Also, today I am thrilled to be participating in Michelle's Saturday Project Life blog hop over on Busy Being Happy. Please head over there and give Michelle some love and check out all the featured bloggers this week.

ReplyDeleteThis idea is great! I am going to use it as a Christmas gift for my mother. I was wondering if you ended up using any project life products or just the products from Simple Stories. Also, did you find a place to buy the pages in bulk? The biggest package only contained 10 for around $6.
ReplyDeleteMichaels has the page protectors, I got them on sale for 40% off. And yep, only used the SS pages in this one.
DeleteThank you so much!!

ReplyDeleteHi I was wondering if each pocket can hold 2 recipes? If so its like a mini book with 8 recipes per 4 pockets. If so that's great.
ReplyDeleteBack to back yes, that's how they are in the book I made (above).
DeleteThank you so much! I am looking to type my recipes up and print them right on the pages! I would like to match the font you used. Can you let me know what it is?
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure, I made these so long ago. It might be Copperplate. I'll have to look through my files, will get back to you.
DeleteIt is Copperplate.
DeleteHow wonderful... thank you for your thoughtfulness1
