Project Life 2013: Week 19

Welcome to Project Life 2013, week 19. If you're new to my blog, make sure you check out my post about my 2013 album.

Pinks and yellows seemed to be the tone for this week. Here's my full spread.

And a look at the left side.

I love that "life with you" brush from Lori Whitlock. And the "Always Be You" card from Studio Calico. I played around with some word stickers from My Mind's Eye on the tree photo. I love how they look all together.

Tickets from Super Why were added to the layout as well, on top of Studio Calico card.

Right side:

That "hello" sticker is from Jillibean Soup. I love these but they weren't fully cut and it was difficult to get it off the sticker sheet. The "mommy" card was from Studio Calico. Just love the simplicity of it. I added a token from Fun World, where we spent Mother's Day. The journaling card is from the Clementine Edition, still one of my favorites because of the soft colors.

I had an insert this week too. I used a 6x12 page protector and just slid in the Mother's Day gift Austin made at daycare.

Behind that, I added the cards he and Summer gave me. I didn't trim the page protector this time, just left it as it was.

It's funny, I didn't like this layout when I'd completed it, but when I look back at the photos of it, it works. I think sometimes I'm too much of a perfectionist. One thing I find with my Project Life album is that even if I don't really love a layout one week, when I look back at the album as a whole, it fits. Because each spread is different for me and they all go together well.

  4. Lovely pages! They look very clean and simple, yet are nicely embellished :)
I also agree with what you have said at the end. Lots of weeks I feel the same when I am working on my spread, yet seeing it all together... it is just awesome to have all those memories to look back on :)
