Project Life 2013: Week 14
Welcome to Project Life 2013, week 14. If you're new to my blog, make sure you check out my post about my 2013 album.
This week I was aiming for black and whites with pops of color. It didn't come out exactly as I'd planned but the end result was satisfying.
We actually had a busy week. Austin had his two year pediatrician appointment, we celebrated my birthday, and Brad and I saw Jurassic Park in 3D.
I used the Total Baby iPhone app (actually, it started out on my iPad before I got my iPhone) when Austin was little to track feedings and doctor visits. I still use it just to keep track of his height and weight. After his two year appointment I took screenshots of his growth charts and added them to my Project Life album.
I used a card from the Kraft edition (digital format, printed) and a chipboard sticker from Recollections next to a photo of Austin in his daycare teacher's glasses. I spotted that owl in Michaels and had to pick it up to use with that photo. I also used some of the enamel dots from the Studio Calico Latte add-on Project Life kit to separate two different topics.
The "grow" alphas are from Snap. Love that 8 sheets of alphas come in one pack.
Brad and I went out to see Jurassic Park in 3D and we stopped at Fuddrucker's for dinner. I took one of the paper hats and added it to my Project Life spread. I used a Kraft edition card and a stamp from the Studio Calico Project Life add-on stamp set to document the night. The ink is Stampin' Up!'s Island Indigo.
I brought out the table and chair set I used as a toddler for Austin over the weekend - he loves it! And we celebrated my birthday at a local steakhouse. We also voted in our town election on Saturday.
The "Hello Weekend" card and the "look at this" flag are from the Studio Calico Latte Project Life add-on kit.
That's it for week 14! :)
