This week I mainly let the photos speak for themselves. Not much journaling:
The top left photo on this page is a pretty sunset I captured on my iPhone while I was hanging at my mom's house. I added a lot of photos of Austin doing various types of art while we were home during the Friday snowstorm. Also a video of Austin on his Sit and Spin (a gift from my sister).
Awhile back, I got a package of goodies from Elise Blaha Cripe, and she had included some journaling cards. I loved this quote one but hadn't found the right time to use it yet. This week, it felt perfect. I'm currently stressing over a multiple of things I need and want to do, and it was nice to find this card in my stash. It actually brought me a little bit of calm.
The "noted" label is from one of the Studio Calico kits.
A photo from my grandmother's collection that my uncle scanned in, photos of Austin outside in the snow after the storm, and a photo of Sadie during the storm complete the right side of the layout. The "make a wish" card is from Recollections.
I used a Studio Calico journaling card, and a stamp from the brand new photopolymer stamp set from Stampin' Up! to point to the photo I was journaling about.
Big tip to keep your layouts quick? LOTS OF PHOTOS. :) Haha. :)
I love that quote. Your pages are fabulous
