Project Life 2013: Week 4

Still finding Project Life this year to be incredibly stress free. Having all of the items I want to use this year all in one place makes it so easy. If you're new to my blog, make sure you check out my post about my 2013 album.

Here's this week's layout:

I worked on weeks 4 and 5 on my bedroom floor, watching the season premiere of NBC's Smash.  (Love that show).

The left side includes my title card, which I move around each week, a screenshot of a text message from Brad, and an Instagram collage I made using one of my templates. (I cut off the outside borders because I was rounding the corners).

A look at the right side:

I added a screenshot of the weather on a super cold day, along with some of the alpha stickers from the January Studio Calico Project Life kit. I used one of the awesome cards from the Seafoam Edition to document Austin's weird case of hives. And I included a couple of video QR codes - one of Austin making art with the bingo markers and another of him "spelling."

This truly was one of those "everyday moments" kind of weeks. :) The best.

    1. Great! :) Yeah, I've had occasional link parties up on some of my freebie posts so people can show off if they've used my freebies but since Jessica does the weekly link party and it's pretty popular, I haven't done one here too. She does a great job running it!

  5. Gorgeous layout! I have a Yahtzee picture in one of my recent layouts also...first time I'd played in years, haha. I included a weather screen shot for week 4 also, your weather looks awful! And I thought it was cold here at 10 degrees [NYC]!

    1. Haha, everyone keeps saying this! I love Yahtzee so much :) One of those, no thought games. And we play triple Yahtzee, the second column is worth double and the third worth triple.

  6. This is hilarious - have been thinking of you in Vegas and it turns out you live in the next town over!

    1. Haha, my title is deceiving. Vegas is where I'm hoping to retire to, one day. We were married there and up until I had Austin, we went 1-2 times each year (hoping to get back next year for our 5th anniversary). Definitely my favorite place to be, and I miss it, all the time.

Which town would that be? I grew up in Chelmsford. :)

  8. Cute pages as usual1 Quick question for you, do you print your QR codes on cardstock or sticky label paper or something else? I'm going to try to do this and am printing them on cardstock, but thought I ask since you do it so frequently.
    Thanks!

    1. Photo paper if I'm doing them when I'm doing photos, otherwise card stock.
