Freebie Week: Instagram Journalers, a Tutorial & A Little Giveaway

Good Morning! Sorry this was delayed posting, I was simply too tired to get this up last night after scrambling to get the rest of my posts up once my internet came back.

First, a little freebie:

Just a set of 3x4 cards that would go nicely next to an Instagram photo in your Project Life layouts. I happen to think they'd work perfectly with the Design I photo pocket pages.

Click here to grab your freebie.

Now, on to the giveaway. Don't get too excited, it's just a little one :) Sure wish I had some sponsors to give away something big on this blog. Hint hint! :)

Let's start with a quick tutorial. I spotted a special Stampin' Up! hostess set that included some cute little scallop labels that would be awesome for Project Life, and made up a set to go with my 2013 album. I thought I'd show you all how to make your own little sticker labels.

I used this hostess set, but you could of course use any label tag you like.

Stamp them up in your choice of colors.

Here's where steps vary. If you prefer, punch them out without adhesive. I'm using Stampin' Up!'s 1.25" scallop circle punch. If you punch first, you can use your adhesive roller, or if you have one, a Xyron sticker maker, like I have here:

For my labels, I prefer to run them through my Creative Station before I punch.

This leaves a protective sheet on the back that I can peel when I'm ready to use the sticker.

And there you go, your own little set of sticker backed labels.

For those of you that want a set of these but don't want to buy the stamp set to make them, you can get these here in my shop in sets of 25. Please note that in my shop, I am only currently shipping to US customers. If you're interested in international shipping, feel free to drop me an email and maybe we can work something out. I just find that international shipping is expensive and time consuming for smaller items, so I'm not currently offering it.

However, I'm also giving away one set of 25 of these labels to one of you, and this giveaway is open to EVERYONE, regardless of where you live.

Update: Giveaway is now closed!

Simply leave a comment on this entry with your first name and last initial, and location (city, state or country) and I'll choose a winner next week. This giveaway closes Monday, November 5, at 11:59 PM EST.

That's it for today everyone! Have a great Thursday :)

  12. Those are really cute journalers. I've thought to do that kind of thing but didn't relish the idea of having to cut them all out. That's awesome that SU makes a punch that works with their stamps! I'm Katie P in Michigan :)
