This weekend I attended the 2nd birthday party of a really special little girl. My good friend SarahBeth was in labor with her daughter, Evangeline, on the same day I found out I was pregnant with Austin. Evangeline was born the very next morning. She's the sweetest, smartest little girl I know, and I am lucky to get to see her a few times a year, as she lives a 6 hour drive away.
I wanted to make her a special card for her birthday, and a few weeks ago I picked up a retired set from Stampin' Up!, called Fairies. I love these stamps and knew that it would be awesome to use one for her card. Please excuse the iPhone photos.
I used StazOn ink to stamp my image, and colored her in with a combination of Stampin' Write Markers and my Copics (for colors I didn't have in the Stampin' Up! markers). I added some glitter with a Gelly Roll Glitter pen, and stuck on a few gold rhinestones. Just love how this came out :)
The banner flag is from the Bitty Banners Framelits set, which I just rolled through my Creatopia. Stampin' Up! sells a Big Shot machine that works perfectly with these. The happy birthday stamp on the banner is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.
That came out SOOOO cute!!
ReplyDeleteAdorable!
ReplyDeleteIt's even prettier in person! (Also, Evangeline was asking for Austin today "Where's Austin?" and "I see Austin?", so freaking cute)
ReplyDeleteAw! :) So cute!
