Product Review: Ball Park Flame Grilled Patties

We decided to make these burgers for our dinner the other night. The price wasn't too bad (on sale 6.99 for 6 patties, comparing to 9.99 for 6 frozen Bubba Burger patties - Stop & Shop/Peapod prices), and the images on the bag sure looked good.

A big plus is that these heat up very quickly. They take 1 minute in the microwave and they are done. They do have a bit of a grilled flavoring to them, so that was nice. However, they definitely still taste like a microwaved burger.

They were sort of soggy coming out of the microwave, and a bit too soft for my liking. With ketchup and mustard it felt like eating a thick White Castle hamburger, to be perfectly honest.

Again, good flavor, but no where near an actual, grilled hamburger. I don't think I'd buy them again, because we generally do a lot of grilling. But if you lack a grill (or the desire to actually go out and grill) and want a tasty snack, these will do the trick.

I do really appreciate the quick heat up time, as someone who is impatient and wants my food ready NOW.
