Week In The Life 2012
Sharing my completed Week In The Life project with you.
I really wanted to join Ali Edwards in this journey, but I was unable to commit to a full album for the week, or the effort required to carry my DSLR around. To keep this project manageable for me, I opted to use my iPhone for the pictures, and create an insert into my Project Life spread for this week.
My "mini album" consists of four baseball card page protectors, with a cover page, and a page for each day.
I used pieces of the Project Life Clementine Edition card stock as the background papers for my album. I also used it with my Slice machine and the Words & Expressions-Family design cartridge to cut words for the cover page:
I incorporated Ali's Hello Routine stamps into the cover page, as well as each page in the album:
For the picture pages, I wanted just a small title or note to go with each photo, so I cut little pennant flags out of the DCWV The Snapshot Stack paper pack that I bought at Michaels awhile back.
Here's a look at all 8 pages:
There you have it, my Week In The Life for 2012. I really enjoyed this process. I was worried that our everyday life would be so boring, but because I limited myself to just 8 photos each day, I found lots of sparks of fun in each day.
I'd say my biggest challenge was when I lost my iPhone on Sunday evening through Tuesday. I had to swap to my point and shoot and Brad's iPhone to snap my photos. I just cropped them square when printing for the album.
I'm going to leave you with my favorite photo from the week, one that I took of Austin at a friend's housewarming party on Saturday:
