Project Life 2012 - Week Four

Nothing overly fancy this week. I spent the first half caring for a sick baby, and the second half caring for sick me, so there wasn't a lot of picture taking and not a lot to report.

Here's the full layout:

And closeups of each page:

The "sore throat" label was cut from a pack of Cepacol. I went through every throat relief option I had available. (Not that any of them helped).

I used journal cards from both the Amber and the Clementine kit that I thought coordinated well. One thing I wanted to point out - when I was trying to come up with enough to fill up the journal cards, it hit me that I could insert some images of my sunglasses and boots. I just printed them out on regular paper, cut and stuck them onto the journaling cards. I added the "fab" Smash paper tape as a little accent.

Something I found helpful this week - using a printable layout template by Marcy Penner. I was sitting on the couch watching Austin and being sick, and it was nice to plan out the layout on the paper instead of having to have everything right in front of me. I think I'm going to use it every week to help plan.

Make sure you stop by The Mom Creative and check out everyone else's layouts too!

    1. A little. It's funny, because my mom is a couple of days ahead of me, but we've experienced the EXACT same symptoms at the exact same phase of the sickness. Today, it's a pounding headache that hits when I get from a sitting or laying position to a standing one, or if I bend over and stand up. It goes away quickly but omg, it hurts!

    2. That IS weird! usually its like... the same virus but affecting people differently. That sucks though, I get headaches just like when I am sick to, and its miserable! and it doesn't even matter how slowly you move.

    1. Thanks! The cube system is from Target (they come in 3 colors), and the fabric bins come in soooo many colors. I liked the idea of having all 9 different colors instead of a specific theme. A bright touch to our room :)
