Shannon just filled out this on her blog, and I've stolen it!
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
The feeling I get when I am snuggling in bed with my smiling, happy baby boy.
What is your greatest fear?
Which historical figure do you most identify with?
I don't know, so I'm going to pretend this question asked what TV character I most identify with, and I'm going to answer Monica from Friends. It's like we're one mind.
What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
I'm way too quick to react - both in speaking and in actions.
What is the trait you most deplore in others?
Thinking and acting like they are better than others.
What is your greatest extravagance?
What does this question mean? What I spend the most money on? Photography.
On what occasion do you lie?
To keep myself out of trouble, or to avoid hurting other people's feelings.
What do you dislike most about your appearance?
My smile. It is crooked. I can fix the after-baby belly, I can't fix the smile.
Which words or phrases do you overuse?
What is your greatest regret?
Not letting Brad control my money sooner. If I'd given him control of my paychecks about 5 years before I did, we'd be very, very comfortably living right now. I'm a shopaholic.
What or who is the greatest love of your life?
Romantically, Brad. The person I love the absolute most? My son.
When and where were you happiest? (I am changing this to ARE instead of WERE)
See question 1. Oh, and geographically, in Vegas.
Which talent would you like to have?
I wish I could sew! :)
What is your current state of mind?
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I want to insert here that Shannon IS charismatic, whether she wants to realize it or not. She may not feel that way internally, but dammit, girl, you have a zillion people who ALWAYS WANT TO HANG WITH YOU because you are AWESOME. You definitely have magnetic charm, hon.
To change one thing about myself would be to stop needing/wanting to do everything and focus on what's really important. I would LOVE to be able to shut off my phone, to not want to blog, to not want to always have my hand in everything and just relax and play with my son all day.
If you could change one thing about your family, what would it be?
I'm not going there. That's what I have my therapist for.
If you could choose what to come back as, what would it be?
I'd ideally never die. If I have to die, I'd like to be a ghost that can interact with the people I love, so it's almost like I never died.
What is your most treasured possession?
Most treasured material possession - my photos/scrapbooks.
What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
I don't think I understand this question. Seriously contemplating suicide, maybe?
Where would you like to live?
See blog title.
What is your favorite occupation?
Celebrity. A-List, to be precise.
What is the quality you most like in a man?
Too hard to pick just one. :) Pretty much any quality (other than procrastination) that my husband has.
What is the quality you most like in a woman?
Being available. (Not as in single, as in, being free to hang out).
What do you most value in your friends?
I like trust, yeah.
Who are your favorite writers?
I have a lot that I like. None that I'd call a favorite. Maybe Chelsea Handler or Jenny McCarthy for writers that I just can't wait to devour their books. (And they're not really writers, they're celebrities). But I'm a big fan of Marian Keyes and Emily Giffin, and James Patterson.
Who is your favorite hero of fiction?
Next question please, I don't have an answer to this.
Who are your heroes in real life?
I don't have any or know any.
What is it that you most dislike?
How would you like to die?
I'm hoping they figure out that immortality thing pretty quickly.
What is your motto?
Don't have one, and I don't want to pretend that I do.
