Christmas DIY: Fabric Scrap Garland and Paper Window Decorations

I finished up my fabric garland yesterday while recovering on the couch, and tonight I made my paper window decorations. Both ideas were found on Pinterest, here and here.

Up first, my window decorations. I made enough for my four front windows:

And my fabric scrap garland. I used the same light string I'd bought for my fall cup garland and grabbed two bags of fabric scraps from my mom. I think the original inspiration was using ribbon but for me, this was more economical. I think I cut about 200ish strips to cover the light strand.

I still have a few more holiday craft ideas to come, so stay tuned! :)

  1. I seriously love those paper ornaments!
And I knew that garland was going to come out cute, but it's even cuter than I imagined. Do you love it?
