Yes, I realize I'm two months early. I feel I need this post to help clear out some stress from my head. I'm feeling things bubbling too high right now and I'm frazzled and crazy.
It's always "I just have to get through x," and "Once y is over, I will have time," but it's always a lie. I am constantly finding myself in the middle of stressful times. Wedding planning, then buying a house, then trying to get pregnant, then being pregnant, then having a newborn, now it's my fall shows and the holidays. It never seems to end.
Sigh. I just have to get through the rest of 2011.
2012 is going to be my year. These are in no particular order.
- I will get to my goal weight of 150 pounds. January 1st, I start a diet and exercise program. No excuses. I will build time into my schedule for exercise.
- I will dedicate two nights per week, after Austin is in bed, to making business-related crafts.
- I will get organized, and stay organized. I will dedicate one night per week, after Austin is in bed, to maintaining this - working on meal plans, updating our household binder, filing, de-cluttering.
- I will dedicate one night a week, after Austin is in bed, to reading and relaxing.
- I will keep my house clean. I will build time into my schedule for daily household maintenance.
- I will track/plan my time (time map style). More than likely, in a paper planner. Every time I try to do it electronically I don't keep up with it. I need something tangible.
- I will spend my weekends doing activities with Austin.
- I will improve my photography - both taking photos and editing.
- I will scrapbook. I will maintain Project Life. I will dedicate one night a week, after Austin is in bed, for memory keeping.
- I will make more seasonal decorations. It makes my house warmer and more inviting and cozy. I will continue to implement ideas and crafts found on Pinterest. I will dedicate one night a week, after Austin is in bed, for this.
2012 will be my year.
These are some pretty awesome goals and resolutions! And I agree, 2012 will be your year! It's gonna be tough, you always want to get so much done in 24 hours! But if anybody can do it, and still say sane, it's you! :-)
