I just placed my first order with Peapod, and I'm already kind of psyched. I spent 100.30 on groceries for over a week. There is a very small fuel surcharge of 1.18. We should be getting free delivery for 60 days, as well. When we do start paying for delivery, I noticed that there are time slots where you can save a buck or two because they're already in the area.
I love the website, actually. I was surprised at how easy it was to navigate. I was able to very quickly find everything I needed. Also, you can sort by unit price! So much easier than in the actual grocery store. And there's a section that shows everything that's on special for the week, and little red tags next to sale items, too. Plus, you can use coupons and your Stop and Shop card.
I think I might really like this!
