Yeahhhhh, fight the fat!

I turned on the Wii Fit today. It told me I hadn't been on in 888 days! That was a really long time ago, and I can't even believe that!

Anyway, it was nice to exercise again, but holy crap am I out of shape. First, I weighed in at 180.6 pounds (that's with my workout clothes on, on my home scale naked I am 176). It said I was almost at the obese mark. Very overweight.

I did five yoga poses, two strength exercises, step, advanced step, boxing, and I did the marble game and the soccer balls. Came to 30 minutes which is really all I had time for because Austin was fussing the last ten minutes. I was pooped, from that. I am so out of it. I haven't exercised in about a year (pretty much since the week we conceived which was a year ago this month). I mean, I did walk a few times on the treadmill around 38 weeks, and I had the 2 mile walk the other day but that's it in a year. I was a very lazy pregnant lady. After not doing anything because I was so sick early on I totally lost any desire to start back up after I felt better.

Anyway, my plan is to Wii fit at least 3 times a week, currently on Brad's nights off. But if I can I will do it more than that.

I set myself a goal to be down 15 pounds in 3 months. That's really aggressive, actually. I hope I can do it.

  1. Awesome job! I think it sounds like you did pretty dang well for your first time back at it! :-)
    You'll definitely start to feel better and better as you keep it up!
