Mother's Day gifts and a Baby Shower! (SUPER LONG PHOTO POST!)

First, I think there was some problems viewing the video I posted yesterday of Austin cooing. I've updated my settings on Facebook, hopefully that has fixed the issue. If not, then I fail.

I received my copy of Photoshop Elements today!  I didn't realize that in addition to the $20 rebate there's a $20 gift card to Shutterfly. In the end, PSE is only costing me $20. That's insane! ;)

I attended a baby shower today for my longtime friend, Ali. Ali & I met at my previous job, and we really bonded when we did the Breast Cancer 3 Day together. She was a bridesmaid in my wedding, and I was a bridesmaid in hers. (This reminds me that I still need to put up a page with wedding photos on this blog). Anyway, she is due in July with a little girl she's going to name Lola, and today was her shower! Here are a couple of photos and a picture of the card I made for her.
I spent the past three days making Mother's Day gifts for my mom, stepmom, grandmother, and Brad's mom. I made them all mini scrapbooks of Austin's newborn shoot for their purses. I laminated the pages with my Xyron Creative Station, and used a binder ring to hold everything together.

Here are lots of pictures of the albums (I warned you this was a long post):

And I made 3 of the 4 Mother's Day cards I needed to. I'm not overly thrilled with them, they were rushed because I was really tired. But I like the concept of them and I think when I take my time next time making these, they will come out awesome.

This one's for my mom. Idea came from Clean & Simple Stamping.

Finally, these are the wonderful Mother's Day gifts that Shannon, Austin, and Summer gave me! (Shannon gave me a gift card to Ink About It, and Brad told me to go and spend $50 there as well from Austin & Summer). They're having a double points event through Thursday, so I filled up my points card too. My next purchase will be 25% off! I'm going to save up and make a big trip when I'm ready to use it.
