Scrapbooking

I am still finishing up my wedding scrapbook (I've made it to after the ceremony, at least), and I've also started a pregnancy scrapbook. I've only got one page completed on that, though. Right now, I'm just designing pages, and will put the photos in after I get them printed.

After the baby is born, I want to start a nice scrapbook for the first year (my friend Lindsay has almost completed hers, and she's doing such a great job!). I'd like to do it month by month for the year, and then after that, plan to just maintain a cool scrapbook that I can keep adding to as time moves on. Lindsay has two for the first year because the entire year couldn't fit in just one album, so it may end up being split into two.

For the baby's album, I'd like to get a 12 x 12 from Creative Memories - they seem to really have the best albums out there, even though they are a bit pricey. The pages are removable and sturdy. Depending on the sex of the baby, there is a light blue and a light pink, both of which I like.

I'm currently stockpiling ideas for both the pregnancy and baby albums. I will probably order up an idea book soon...

This isn't exactly what I was looking for - I believe I saw a much nicer version in Lindsay's layout book, but you get the idea. I want to do a page of the baby's body parts, with a photo of him/her in the center. I don't think I'd label the parts, like the one shown here, though. Just a collage of the pictures.

  1. hey you - here is a link for the idea book that I have:

I wish I had taken pictures of each body part...well, I guess I could still do it now!

Can't wait to see your pregnancy scrapbook.
We gotta keep each other motivated to scrap! Let's plan a September date!
