Today, I'm in a fabulous mood, surprisingly! I feel better today than I have in....6 weeks. :) Not sure how long it will last, but I'm using it to my advantage.
I actually had a great day yesterday too, so last night I put together one of the two Etsy orders I received last week, and 2/3 of the other order, which I'll finish up tonight. Today, I've selected Summer's birthday gift and plan to order it this afternoon, plus I updated the Perfect Loop blog and website with the show we have scheduled for the fall. I realized it's probably time to update the blog layout and the website template at some point soon too, so I'll work on that when I have a chance.
I'm hoping to continue my good day through tonight, and maybe get some jewelry made or perhaps another page done in my pregnancy scrapbook.
I have discovered two DIY Network shows on in the mornings that are interesting to me. Scrapbooking, and The Whole Picture. Scrapbooking is, well, just what the title says - it shows you cool scrapbooking techniques. Today, I learned about something called Iris folding, and also, a unique matting technique (you mat the photograph on 4 different colors of paper - the first mat background is 1/4 inch larger than the photo, then the next is 1/2 inch larger than the first mat, the next is 1/4 inch larger than the 2nd mat, and the final one is 1/8 inch larger than the 3rd mat. It really looked pretty great when it was done.
The Whole Picture is a show that gives you tips on photography. Today, they had an episode on photographing babies! :)
I think both of these shows are older, and no longer have new episodes, which is a bummer, but still fun to watch. Kind of like DIY's Jewelry Making, which is also no longer being filmed.
