Ali's wedding!

I must start by saying that I believe I was just a part of the most gorgeous wedding ever. I took tons of photos, and had an absolute blast. Here's a full recap (read: LONG entry), with photos. But, here's my favorite:
The festivities started off with the rehearsal. As they could not get Independence Harbor for the rehearsal, it was held at a gazebo in the center of Norwood. The dinner afterwards was held at Joe & Maria's.

The morning of the wedding, we all headed to the salon at 8am for our hair and makeup. I was quite pleased with how my hair turned out, and Ali's was gorgeous, with little flower bobby pins. I got my first taste of what was in store for photography for the day - all 4 of the photographers/videographers showed up at 9am and didn't leave Ali's side until after 11pm. Her photographers are Nieubreed - I can't wait to see the results. They took several thousand photos (and I mean, SEVERAL thousand).

Ali gave us all white robes with our initials embroidered on them, which you can see Ulana (who is 8 mos pregnant) modelling hers.

Later on, I snuck into Ali's room for a bit while she was getting some photos taken and just relaxing.

I got ready and Brad took a few photos of me outside, and by then it was time to head to Ali's room to meet the other ladies. (And take more photos!) Chafic gave Ali a beautiful pair of earrings to surprise her before the wedding - they matched her necklace perfectly, and he didn't plan it that way.

Then it was time to head to Independence Harbor for the ceremony! She couldn't have asked for more perfect weather. It actually started raining while we were in the hotel, and she said a little prayer and the rain just stopped. The sun stayed out and the ceremony was just flawless.

We all posed for our photos afterwards, and it felt like forever before we were let into the reception :)

The reception was a blast - Ali picked out great music. They handed out flip flops to the ladies to save our tired feet, too. Everything was absolutely perfect. :)

A big shout out to Broadway Nails - the glue on nails? Put them on Friday night and they're still stuck on there, nice and strong!
